A relationship with a physician is one that is predominantly based on faith. We will usually accept any recommendations by our physicians without having even the slightest knowledge of the science behind the medicines they’re prescribing or the training behind any surgical procedures that they might be about to perform. Nonetheless, our health and indeed our life is our most prized asset so it is wise to do a little background check on our doctors credentials before entrusting him or her with such an important asset.
