Annual Training

A successful training program must include initial training and ongoing training.  The ongoing training is typically a challenge. Annual training is often viewed by employees as unnecessary and boring.  However, refresher courses are an important part of a skills training program. The key is to assess the needs of the employees, including any current or ongoing safety and quality concerns.  These must be addressed and employees must be given a chance to offer their opinions and concerns. To ignore the front line at this point is a terrible waste. Finally, creative thinking can produce techniques which combat boredom at these required events.
