The Alexa Company are a web site ranking company that’s run by Amazon. They’ve got a plugin that people install inside their internet browser. If they check out an internet site, this data is transmitted to help the company which put it to use to position all the web sites online in terms of traffic to the sites. Google is rated number 1. Alexa have many million users with the plugin, which means this seems extraordinary. However, the people that often put in the toolbar tend to be computer savvy. And so the Alexa ranks will probably be not impartial towards the sites which those people who are technologically knowledgeable tend to go to more regularly.
