Women are fixing their own homes up
I popped in to visit my neighbor for coffee the other day. I was surprised to find her wearing a flannel shirt, jeans and with a measuring tape attached to her waist. She is normally se well turned out, and I was really taken aback. She obviously noticed the look on my face and laughed as she told me that she had been recently been bitten by the home improvement bug, and was in the middle of measuring her kitchen work tops as part of a joinery project she was thinking of doing. She confessed that she had become very attached to her measuring tape, and was thinking of buying a new 10 ft. measuring tape to take on bigger projects. Mostly she explained, she was just very pleased with being able to get things done in her home to her satisifaction.
