Back when I was a kid I had a wood dollhouse. Fortunately I had one that was not painted. My grandmother and I painted it together, it was pink and green. If your child is little I recommend that you get one that is painted. For older children you should get an unpainted wooden doll house because you can spend time painting it with your child.
