Doing Home Video Editing
Technology has advanced to allow us to do home video editing. The results of these are limited only by our creativity. All that is needed is a video camera with digital output, or a digital camera and a computer. Really! And yes, you will need video editing software. Once you have shot the raw film, you can then easily sit and delete all the unwanted parts and even spice up the selected portions with as many transition effects, graphic effects and sound effects that you want. At the end of the day, you will have a short but eminently watchable video.
