Spanish Immersion Antigua: It Is Everything You Expect

The sun is shining brightly in the sky and I feel a cool breeze on my face as I walk on the path  behind my house. Today is the day I get to practice with a group of Spanish speaking students as we prepare for our trip to Spain. I  hastily enrolled in the spanish immersion antigua program because I don’t have much going this summer. A week ago I download all my lessons for the class to my ipod so I have everything I need in one place. Since I do a lot of walking during the spring and summer months, I can take the opportunity to listen and practice my nouns, verbs, and vocabulary. I also get a big lift from hearing someone with proper pronunciation say the words, then I can repeat them as I continue in stride on the beaten path. So I get exercise and learn my Spanish well.

With dictation transcription you need to be careful

Very often, when you are listening to a tape of a person who is dictating you some notes that need to be the basis for the essay that you are supposed to write, you will find that  dictation transcription  is certainly not an easy task. This is mainly because you are not able to follow the particular accent and intonation that the speaker has. Over and above this, you will also find that the audio quality has a lot to do with the ease with which you can do dictation transcription. Once you are able to get good quality tapes, this job can become a lot easier.
