At the first signs of cancer of the pancrease, you may find that you have a drastic weight loss accompanied with zero appetite. You may find yourself exhausted or depressed for no reason at all. A generally happy person, you may feel “down in the dumps” and not like yourself. These small, subtle hints usually do not put a red flag up to anyone, which is why pancrease cancer is not normally detected early enough to give it a fighting chance. Once you have received a diagnosis of cancer and told which stage your cancer will be in, you will start your treatment. This most likely will start with the removal of some or all of your pancrease if it has not spread to any other part of your body. If it has spread, removal of the organ will not be necessary.

It is when I read about a foundation that has committed itself to finding a cure for cancer that I feel hope. The Lustgarten Foundation is just such a place. Included in their good works are striving to find ways to prevent pancreatic cancer, and diagnose it as early as possible. Treatment of the cancer and, of course, a cure are also paramount. Providing information to the public, and making the public more aware about this disease is also a goal of the foundation. The more time we give to beating pancreas cancer, the better off we will be in the long run.

Migraine headaches are among the most painful things that we can experience as humans. Of course, there are other painful things that we can experience, such as kidney stones but this type of Hedache is one that is going to cause serious problems for you as long as it sticks around. If you only have a migraine on occasion, see if you can pin down what is causing it and relieve yourself of that cause. In the early days of liposuction procedures, shock was by far the worst side effect reported. Patients were generally hospitalized following liposuction, and blood loss was quite common. Many patients received transfusions as well as IV rehydration.
With the procedures currently available, however, liposuction side effects are nowhere near as common or significant as they had been in the past.
For example, blood loss is reduced significantly with the development of the tumescent liposuction method, which involves injecting a special solution beneath the skin that numbs the tissues and replaces fluids at the same time. Patients recover more quickly with today’s liposuction procedures.

One of the very common techniques to burn fat is considered to be a circuit training program. This technique is called a closed circuit in which a set of exercises and activities are performed in a series by the person. The most important fact is that there should be rest periods between the exercises. These fat burning techniques tests our endurance. The set of exercises that are contained in the circuit training program could be push-ups, cable and weight training, sit-ups, jumping jacks, boxing and many more. A cycle may have 8 to 10 exercises involved and may be repeated once or twice as per the requirements. This helps to improve our metabolic rate and also improves our concentration.

I’ve got a bee in my bonnet lately about Drug Rehab.
I’ve accepted that I can’t kick this habit by myself. I need help.
My wife has told me I have to find out more about Heroin Rehab if our marriage is going to survive. And she’s right.
I never thought I’d be in this situation, but there it is. I have to take responsibility and get past it.
I’m sure I’ll have more to say about this down the line.

I’ve got a bee in my bonnet lately about Electric Wheelchairs.
I’m tired of being limited in mobility by my manual wheelchair. Besides, a power wheelchair looks like fun to me.
I’ve been reading up on Quickie Wheelchairs for a few days. There are lots of great models out there.
I can’t wait for my new powered wheelchair to arrive. I’m impatient to get going.
Gotta Run for now. More later.

How do you know your personal health information is protected? Especially regarding your mental health treatment or services? The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, or HIPAA, was established in 1996 to protect your personal health information (PHI) from outside sources that do not have a business purpose to see it. Your primary care physician can see it, as well as your health insurance. Your spouse, child, parent or other non-medical entity cannot see your PHI without your consent. Anyone not directly related to the treatment or payment of your mental health services will need either verbal or written permission from you to access your files, whether with your doctor or your insurance company. The usual age of consent is 18 (or younger if the child has been emancipated). However, in the case of mental health, physicians and insurance companies will drop the age down to 13 or 14 (depending on your state). This means if you are a child of 14 and receive mental health services, unless you choose to tell your parents about your treatment, they are restricted by HIPAA from obtaining information from either your physician or your insurance company.

How many times have you heard that acne is caused by “dietary factors?” How many products are on the market to correct “oily skin” another supposed cause of acne? Do you believe in the age old theory that bacteria causes acne?
The 3 reasons cited above are not the cause of acne.
What most people are naturally searching for is an acne solution. Acne occurs from within caused by an “internal problem” - a physical reaction when our hormonal system is out of whack and running amok. What we need to do is address what is going on inside as internally. It is no secret that women are prone to acne leading up to their monthly menstrual cycle which is driven by hormones. When their hormonal cycle is corrected following their monthly “period” their outbreak of acne disappears.
It is a well known phenomenon that women suffer from PMS - pre-menstrual syndrome. Following their monthly menstrual cycle the hormones in their system become balanced once again, hence the disappearance of pimples and blackheads. Men do not have “menstrual cycles” per se, but they too have hormonal fluctuations that vary under different circumstances. Stress is a huge factor that impacts on the hormones of both men and women. The secret to the cause of acne is simply “hormonal” in both men and women.

Enlarged prostate, also medically known as BPH or Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia is prostate issue that is common in older men. Contrary to common belief, BPH is not a cancer of the prostate and can be detected by a urologist through rectal examination or even with the aid of a medical instrument known as the cytoscope. Usually, BPH may start when a man reaches his thirty’s, advances gradually, and generally enlarged prostate symptoms can be seen only after fifty. As the name suggests, one of the very obvious enlarged prostate symptoms is the increase in the size of the prostate glands.

Last week I discovered an old friend of mine is suffering from Addiction Eating Disorder. I’m really worried, and honestly I mean, geez, what about Binge Eating in Children? It’s just awful. I know the best thing would be for her to get treatment for depression. I can’t think of anything else to do.

I just learned my sister has Binge Addiction. What awful news. I never saw it coming. She seemed so together to me. I mean, geez, what about Anorexic Binges? It’s just awful. I’m going to have to insist that she seek out counseling for her binge eating disorder. I can’t think of anything else to do.
