I am a great example of this.  I tend to evaluate too early because I am not very patient.  This is not helpful at all, in fact I find it even destructive at times.  If I evaluate too early, I usually don’t see what good I may be doing in a situation, and I tend to feel depressed that I haven’t reached my goals yet.  Evaluation is important, but make sure it is done at the right time.
