Making Presentations: Avoid Excessive Animation
There can be many distractions when you are giving a presentation: cell phones ringing, loud talking, and people coming and going. With all of these different distractions already there, don't let your own PowerPoint become the most distraction thing.
When you are PowerPoint templates, avoid any excessive animations. This includes transitions and texts. It is acceptable to have animations to make it look more lively, but limit yourself. Chose a good transaction to go throughout the entire PowerPoint. Don't change it from slide to slide. Also, your text should have the same, basic animation. Anything too over the top is where the distractions come in.
