Imanage Document Management

My company all works off of the same database and same server. My problem is that some of my workers do not need all the information that is on the computer. I would like to have some sort of Imanage Document Management company take a look at our computers and perhaps grey out areas where I do not want some of the staff going. Take for instance the accounting of the company. There is no need for the receptionist to be able to look into those files but they are available right now for anyone to look at. Is there a way to block this out?
