You don’t need to incorporate out of State
When I was looking at forming an LLC, I thought about forming one out of state. I live in California, and some people had said that I might be better off forming one in Nevada or making a Delaware LLC. But I didn’t want to form out of state, and so I looked into forming a California LLC. I’m glad I did now, because firstly the incorporation was much easier than I had imagined, and secondly because I much prefer the fact that I can deal with local regulations when it comes to running my company. If you are thinking about incorporating in another state, make sure you are happy working with regulations in a place where you are not resident, because it can make a big difference to your comfort level.
