Can I change my start date after receiving my I-20?You can change your start date at any time before entering the U.S. Simply contact Kaplan International Colleges to confirm your new start date as soon as you become aware of the change. At that point, Kaplan International Colleges will send you a document I-20 that shows the new revised dates of your course. There is another way to apply for Student Visa for US. Do not put Kaplan International Colleges aware of these changes might cause problems at the Port of Entry and / or the American embassy. Once inside the U.S., you can not postpone your start date. There are exceptions to this provision. However, if you start before your start date, is acceptable. Simply contact your center Kaplan International Colleges and put them aware that you want to start early.
