The Weekly Meeting
My husband is the foreman of a very large mechanical company, and every week they hold a project meeting to evaluate their weekly progress. Sometimes the meeting runs over the allotted time, so his assistant always makes sure that the stacking chairs and folding tables for banquets are set up ahead of time so that they can make every minute count during the meeting. Things are set up and ready ahead of time,and they are able to get right down to business. Last week the general contractor ordered them pizza and soda and they were rewarded for being ahead of their project schedule.
